I am looking for the parents of James A. Richardson born 7 Mar1837 d. 12 Nov 1910 and buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD. He married Margaret Collins in Frederick Co., MD in 1861. In a search for James' death certificate I found out that he did not die in Maryland. I went to Mt. Olivet Cemetery and got an interment certificate that listed his father only as Richardson (wouldn't ya know it) and his mother as Margaret Grove. This certificate also has his place of death as Winchester Virginia. On the 1910 Frederick Co., VA census he is living in Winchester with his son Harvey Eugene Richardson. I found no other Richardson's in Winchester at that time and believe that James was only there because his son moved there for work. Virginia has no death certificates for the years between 1896 through 1912 so that was another dead end. But at least I now have his mothers name. Does anyone have a marriage for a Richardson to Margaret Grove? In the 1900 census, Jame lists himself and his mother and father as born in Virginia. Thanks, Deb
