Commercial advertising or offering for sale is strictly forbidden on Rootsweb Lists. The offer below is definitely commercial. I find it unbelievable that someone shopping in a flea market would shell out $8450.00 for books they had no personal use for. It is acceptable for an individual to "make available" (not for sale) books, pictures, information, recovered documents or anything else with genealogy value as long it is confined to a very small number of items and the post must clearly state to contact you off list for details. What you do about it off list is no concern of ours.
