    2. Gary Richardson
    3. This is the original Richardson Homestead, in it's present day manifestation. Over the years, parts of the home were lost to fire, and additions made, but the central part of the home is still intact, dating back to 1724. The town website lists a 1730 date of construction, which is close to the true date. A search of surrounding properties helped to uncover one other home from the 1700's, which also may have been in the Richardson family. If any of the towns that you may be researching has a similar website for the property assessments, you may find a new source of information previously unavailable without searching through town records. In New England, Vision Appraisal is one of the larger sources for town sites, although this one is produced by Patriot Properties. My own town of Warwick, RI has it's own on line assessment site. It may pay to investigate similar websites for other towns, as well. You'll be surprised at how much information is there. http://franklin.patriotproperties.com/Summary.asp?AccountNumber=10030<http://franklin.patriotproperties.com/Summary.asp?AccountNumber=10030>
