There have been a few family members who traveled to IL, IN, OH, etc, but not well documented, in my case. Quite a few more in the NH area. One note: Richardson's brought the Cordwainer trade with them from England, and the house that my grandfather was born in (Franklin, MA) has the remains of a shoe making shop still in the basement. I'm told that a Cordwainer is a shoe craftsman, not to be confused with a Cobbler, or repairman. There are Societies of Cordwainer's to this day. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jerry & Carolyn Ott<mailto:jc.ott@verizon.net> To: RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2005 10:54 PM Subject: Re: [RICHARDSON] Re: RICHARDSON-D Digest V05 #11 I do not know if Adoniram had any connections to the Firearms company or not. I seem to recall that name while I was looking for a family connection with "those" Richardson's. The company was started in the Worcester area, and there are still some of the guns available today, although the Richardson's and Harrington's are no longer involved with the company. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jerry & Carolyn Ott<mailto:jc.ott@verizon.net<mailto:jc.ott@verizon.net>> > To: RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:RICHARDSON-L@rootsweb.com>> > Sent: Thursday, February 24, 2005 10:09 PM > Subject: Re: [RICHARDSON] Re: RICHARDSON-D Digest V05 #11 > > > You mentioned Richardson in Franklin, Ma.
