Gary, I think that is a odd name for the time period of 1700's for Halifax County. But I wish the other ancestors of mine had different names like that instead of John, James and etc. Skip had a daughter Susannah. Do you know if your Richarsons had land around Bates branch in Halifax County, Va. My interest is my ancestor Joseph Mullins had son Thomas Richardson Mullins who was born ca 1777 Va and in Halifax County. Skip is on deeds with Joseph Mullins, Joseph's wife was Mary, so trying to find Mary's father, who could be Skip. Skip has will and I need to try and get that and check it out.
