Hi Donna, I found the website for the Glendora Public Library which also has an e-mail address. I have sent them an e-mail requesting the obits using the information I found on the CA Death Index on Rootsweb. I have not heard back from them yet. I have also ordered their death certificates but there is no telling how long that will take. I tried going through the LA list on roots but I did not get much help there at all. I appreciate you reply to my e-mail. You have a great evening and good luck on all your researching. I now have to contact the MA archives in Boston to get a marriage document for 1895 and 2 birth records for 1898 and 1900. According to the MA vital records site, it said that I had to go through archives for those records. When I e-mailed MA archives, they said I had to go through the Boston office of the archives for vital records. That will take some 6-8 weeks. I will check out the Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness and see if there is anyone in the Boston area who can get the records faster. I need the marriage and possible birth to show where they groom was born in NY to use as a marriage place for the groom's parents in my DAR application and possibly find a census record to use. You learn so much and with each twist and turn, more questions rear their head. LOL You have a nice evening now. Thanks.
