I watched this show and I agree it was almost like an infomercial for FamilyTree Maker, but I was totally astonished at the old books that were written about the families that they found. They showed a book from maybe the early 1800's about the Baldwin family. Does anyone know if any of these type books exist about the Richardson's? There is the Richardson Memorial but that is limited to Richardsons from New England. I publish an edition on CD Rom. Where you are looking for Rs in VA and NC I would suspect That yours would be from a group who entered through Jamestown, VA. If you do find a New England Connection I would be glad to check things for you.
