    1. [RICHARDSON] Georgia Richardsons to Louisiana
    2. Dan, Yes, a few of my Hancock County, GA Richardsons ended up in St. Helena Parish and Washington Parish, Louisiana. James A. Richardson (son of the elder Enoch Richardson and Mary Jane Harris) and his wife, Rachel Elizabeth Young moved to Washington Parish, LA where many of their children were born. They moved to St. Clair County and Benton County, MO where James died. One of their sons, David Felder Richardson and his mother, Rachel left MO and settled in Trinity County, TX in 1871. Mary Jane Harris is in St. Helena Parish, LA for the 1830 census. George Richardson, Samuel Richardson, Augustus Richardson, Enoch Richardson are all in St. Helena Parish, LA for the 1830 census. >From St. Helena Parish, LA, Augustus Richardson went to St. Clair and Benton County, MO with my ggg-grandpa, James A. Richardson and wife Rachel. Augustus died there also. Part of the group went over into Rankin County, MS and the surrounding counties. A huge portion of the census names from St. Helena Parish and Washington Parish, LA ended up going over to Rankin County, MS and what's really odd, all the way into Trinity County, TX. I haven't a clue why they ended up there except free land and lots of East Texas pinetrees and beautiful countryside. Womacks, Richardsons, Strothers, Felders, Vernons, Venables all left St. Helena Parish, LA, via Rankin County, MS then on into Trinity County, TX. If you have connections to these names, please let know. I have lots of names and dates and I'm glad to share with all of them. Amy McCroskie Denver, CO
