RICHARDSON: John T. Richardson, 88, Oakwood, Friday. RICHARDSON: Dorothy May Richardson, 69, Cerro Gordo, Saturday.
Hi List, I am looking for the marriage date of Minnie Maud RICHARDSON to Fred MacDONALD. They were probably married in Middlesex County, MA. Minnie was the daughter of Nelker RICHARDSON and Margaret HARLEY. Minnie was born in Canada 10 Sept. 1882. She and her family moved to Middlesex County around Lowell and Chelmsford around 1898. As far as I know, she was not married then. That would put her marriage date sometime around 1900 or a little later. I would like to obtain her marriage document but I do not know which town to write to. I have her death certificate from Glendora, California where she moved to about 1956 to live with her daughter Muriel and her husband Jack Richardson. Apparently Minnie's husband died in either 1955 or 1956. That is another e-mail. Sue [email protected]
Can anyone give me their thoughts or expertise on this? I am trying to associate the name "Wayne" Richardson with other similar names or backgrounds. It seems that Wayne was a very uncommon name at the time (born in 1854). In a search for his parents or siblings I am trying to associate similar names that might come up. He named two of his sons---John Milton, and Milton Dewey. Does "Milton" in some way go along with "Wayne"? Also I have come across a "Newton" Richardson in that time frame (1850). I have been running down all the John's, Joseph's, William's, Thomas's, and other generic Richardson given names without much luck. Any thought on name "Wayne"? Ron Richardson

I'm searching for Pressella Richardson who is listed in Original Conveyances 23 Jan, 1828 in St. Helena Parish, La: Pressella Richardson to gc Celia Morgan, Thomas Field Morgan, & Mary Ann Morgan c of John Morgan and Corbi Morgan. Obviously she was disposing of her dower rights and was married to a Morgan. I'd appreciate any information. I believe her to be my g,g,g, grandmother. Celia Morgan was my g,g grandmother who was born about 1824 and married Wm. Sanders in Washington Parish, La. Celia and Wm. were listed in the census records of Washington Parish, La. until 1850; in 1860 they are in the census in Calcasieu Parish, La. June R. Poole

General Israel B. Richardson did indeed die in the farmhouse ( Pryer home about 6 weeks after he was wounded. Someone in our family has records and documents. from hi birth on the Eastern States and military life through to Fla. and in Texas where he married first, and her death less than a year later. He returned to MI. to become a farmer. Remarried and left an infant son and young widow when he died of wounds on the bloody Road. There is also a Cannon turned upside down in his honor. My family videoed the (125 th, I think ) reinactment and have other information. I'm not sure how our R's fit in. Would you like to trade information with me ? Hi Donna, I found the website for the Glendora Public Library which also has an e-mail address. I have sent them an e-mail requesting the obits using the information I found on the CA Death Index on Rootsweb. I have not heard back from them yet. I have also ordered their death certificates but there is no telling how long that will take. I tried going through the LA list on roots but I did not get much help there at all. I appreciate you reply to my e-mail. You have a great evening and good luck on all your researching. I now have to contact the MA archives in Boston to get a marriage document for 1895 and 2 birth records for 1898 and 1900. According to the MA vital records site, it said that I had to go through archives for those records. When I e-mailed MA archives, they said I had to go through the Boston office of the archives for vital records. That will take some 6-8 weeks. I will check out the Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness and see if there is anyone in the Boston area who can get the records faster. I need the marriage and possible birth to show where they groom was born in NY to use as a marriage place for the groom's parents in my DAR application and possibly find a census record to use. You learn so much and with each twist and turn, more questions rear their head. LOL You have a nice evening now. Thanks.
