Hi all, Thanks for ALL of you who have sent me websites. They are great and just what I needed! Thanks again, Barbara
Barbara, They are available here: <http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/RG/frameset_rhelps.asp?Page=./research/type/form.asp&ActiveTab=Type> Thank you, Terry Barbara L Richardson wrote: > Hi all, > Does anyone know where, online, I can find blank census pages? Barbara, I'm sure there are several places online to obtain blank forms, but I use blank Census Extraction forms from Ancestry.com. The census forms are there for every year plus Ancestral Charts, Research Calendar, Research Extract, Family Group Sheets and Souce Summary forms. They can be downloaded or printed and have served my research needs very well. Try this web site: <http://www.ancestry.com/save/charts/census.htm> AOL users, click here: <A HREF="http://www.ancestry.com/save/charts/census.htm">Ancestry.com - Census Forms</A> Hope this helps, Amy Wood-McCroskie Denver, CO
Hi Barbara Try this. It has links to all kind printable/downloadable research forms. http://www.cyndislist.com/supplies.htm#Online Have a great day. Martha
Hi all, Does anyone know where, online, I can find blank census pages? I have a lot of difficulty reading the descriptions on the tops of the census records online. It seems the more I zoom in to it the fuzzier it gets! I know I have used them before but I can't find them now when I need them, imagine that! Thanks a bunch, Barbara
To L.L. Camp: Thank you for taking the time to list the data. None of the Richardson names are familiar to me. The search continues...........Jan [email protected]
I received this from Barbara Waddell who lives in Chatom, Alabama, Washington County. If you like it....do it....and pass it own to your friends. Better do it in a hurry, before the purple ribbon runs out. I was late looking for a flag, and I ended up using pipe cleaners, red, white and blue and wrapped them around my car antenna ,it really looks pretty neat. (Four reds, four blues and four whites.) Sandra Barbara wrote: Subject: purple ribbon I think this is a fabulous idea -------- And certainly does make sense to me. A movement has been started like that from Desert Storm. During Desert Storm we tied yellow ribbons anywhere we could. Well, now the movement is to tie purple ribbons the same way. This is for two reasons. 1. In remembrance of not only the firefighters, police officers, paramedics who have died, but also for all who have died in this terrible tragedy. 2. Just as in the military, when a serviceman get injured, he is given the Purple Heart. Well, our country has been injured to its core. Please pass this on to everyone you know, and let's see purple ribbons everywhere. Along with the flag of the United States of America. ____________________________________________________________

Tammy, Noticed your posting and wondering if you have a date of birth for Raymond Richardson who married Bernice Camp on 3 Feb 1910. The reason I ask is that I am trying to find information on a Raymond A. Richardson born June 1884 in Plymouth County, IA. His father was James Richardson who was born in England. Hello to the List I will try my Richardson's again. My Great-Grandmother was Frances Elizabeth Richardson, born in Spartanburg, SC in 1835 and died in Chattooga county, Georgia in 1887. Her parents were: John Jefferson Richardson, born 30 April 1812 in Spartanburg and died in Chattooga Co., GA in February 1881. He married Harriet S. Copeland in 1833. Her grandparents were Moses Richardson, born in Amelia Co., VA on 5 June 1780 and died in Spartanburg, SC on 25 January 1851. He married Elizabeth Chapman on 2 February 1810. She was born on 23 December 1790 in Amelia Co., VA and died on 15 November 1856 in Spartanburg, SC. Would appreciate hearing from you if you connect with the above Richardson family. Thanks. All of us as Americans are horrified and stunned at this senseless act of terrorism on our families, friends and neighbors in NY and DC. In the days to follow, let us remember to pray---no matter our choice of religion or belief--for those who have lost loved ones, for those who are working diligently to rescue our brothers and sisters in NY and DC, for those who have the task of investigating this horrible atrocity and for those who are right now making serious decisions about how to reply to these terrorists. It is human nature to think of revenge and retribution at a time like this---we have all felt it in our hearts in recent hours---but let us remember to make sure that it doesn't spill over on to other innocent Americans because of their religion, ethnicity or skin color. These terrorists have done enough damage. Please lets not allow them to change the very core of America's identity and meaning. It is the safe harbor for people of all religions, all races, all ethnicities. As Americans it is our duty to safeguard these freedoms both as a country and as individuals. A call has gone out to us to fly the American flag at this time. While we are doing so, let us each not forget what it stands for, what it means to be an American. Hi I am a new list member and was still gathering my info so that I could post about my Wythe Co. VA Richardson's, so I hadn't posted yet. I will try to post maybe next week. I got the following item from another list that I am on, and would like to share it with you. Heather Wilson-Egelston Researching:RICHARDSON, ROLLEN or ROLEN, BOWLING or BOWLES, MATHENY, McMILLION or McMILLIAN, of VA MILLER, BLEVINS, & PRUITT of NC SHOP WITH ME ONLINE!!! www.longaberger.com/HeatherPage **************************************************************************** ******************* AN OPEN LETTER TO TERRORISTS by [email protected] (Jim Willis & Nicole Valentin-Willis/Tiergarten Sanctuary Trust) I don't know your name, or names - we may never know who you are - so I can't address you personally. Today, you killed several thousands of our friends...perhaps not people who we knew personally, but people like us. People who worked hard to make a living, who loved someone, who were loved by someone, who worried about making a better life for their children and grandchildren, who believed in God and the American Dream, who criticized this country for its insufficiencies and cared enough to try and change things and ensure a better future, not just for us, but for the world. People who leave behind scores of loved ones, friends, pets, neighbors, coworkers, and members of their faiths. Perhaps even people who derived from your own country and who sought refuge here. Your act was a slaughter of the innocents. You are like an insidious cancer that strikes without warning, ravages bodies, tears families apart, and in the end can never destroy the soul. You are the ultimate coward. You may topple our buildings, collapse our communication systems, disrupt our government, crash our markets, and leave behind the carnage of bodies, but you will never destroy the soul of America. We made this country from the bits and pieces of the rest of the world; we took the best, the worst of every culture and nationality, race and creed, and made an alloy that may be dented, but not even a trial by fire can melt. I don't know what god you believe in, or what hateful rhetoric you espouse, or what your misguided political beliefs might be that allows you to do what you did today without a fear of eternal damnation. I only know that you may win a battle or two, but you will never win this war. We have the entire history of the world on our side, and no dictator, despot, or madman has survived as long as America has thrived and prospered. If you accomplished anything at all today, it was to give America a wake-up call, and we will now rise up stronger than before. You are defeated before you've even begun, there in your private hell and later in your eternal one. Someday your people may even need our help, and because we are America, we would respond. May God bless the friends we lost, their families, friends, neighbors and coworkers. We will help them rebuild from the ashes. May God continue to bless America, help her to protect us all, and may she continue to shine as a beacon of democracy and hope to the rest of the world. To: L.L. Camp In your information, do you have any names of the Ohio line of Richardsons? That is my line and I think most of them migrated to other states i.e. KY, CA. I know only three people. Any info greatly appreciated. Jan [email protected]
Mamie said in part "My husband's Richardson's were also in Hancock, but also Walton County, Georgia." Hi Mamie, Can you tell me which of your husband's line was in Walton County, GA? I'll have to dig out some of my old research notes on my Richardsons, but I think some of mine were in Walton County, GA also. I was researching William "Buck" Richardson and wife Amy Moon several years ago. They had a son, Thomas Richardson born about 1820 that may have been my g-grandfather. I am positive part of "Buck" Richardson's family was MY family from Hancock County, GA.... just can't remember how he fit into the chain of title. Glad to share whatever I have that might help. Amy McCroskie Denver, CO
Dan, Yes, a few of my Hancock County, GA Richardsons ended up in St. Helena Parish and Washington Parish, Louisiana. James A. Richardson (son of the elder Enoch Richardson and Mary Jane Harris) and his wife, Rachel Elizabeth Young moved to Washington Parish, LA where many of their children were born. They moved to St. Clair County and Benton County, MO where James died. One of their sons, David Felder Richardson and his mother, Rachel left MO and settled in Trinity County, TX in 1871. Mary Jane Harris is in St. Helena Parish, LA for the 1830 census. George Richardson, Samuel Richardson, Augustus Richardson, Enoch Richardson are all in St. Helena Parish, LA for the 1830 census. >From St. Helena Parish, LA, Augustus Richardson went to St. Clair and Benton County, MO with my ggg-grandpa, James A. Richardson and wife Rachel. Augustus died there also. Part of the group went over into Rankin County, MS and the surrounding counties. A huge portion of the census names from St. Helena Parish and Washington Parish, LA ended up going over to Rankin County, MS and what's really odd, all the way into Trinity County, TX. I haven't a clue why they ended up there except free land and lots of East Texas pinetrees and beautiful countryside. Womacks, Richardsons, Strothers, Felders, Vernons, Venables all left St. Helena Parish, LA, via Rankin County, MS then on into Trinity County, TX. If you have connections to these names, please let know. I have lots of names and dates and I'm glad to share with all of them. Amy McCroskie Denver, CO
