This information was collected from ancestor tables and articles submitted, over the years, by Rich family Association members for publication in "KINFOLK" the association magazine. I find it quite amazing that Sumner's father, Thomas who was born in MA in 1808, moved ,during his offspring producing years, to Wisconsin and then moved yet farther on west. He died in 1888 in Oregon. He spanned the continent.
