Hi, I may be related to Jacob Rich too, my name is Ron Rich, I am descended from Warren Rich B Virginia 1780- 1790 d 1857 in Hamilton CO ILL. I have never been able to establish his birthplace or parentage, I believe he may have been a son of William (s/o Jeremiah. And from what I found so far is that William had a brother named Jacob, Have you ever heard of Warren? Bobby Rich say's that all the Rich family all lived around Goochland CO VA. I just found Warren in the 1820-1830 Warren CO Ky census, He may have had a Brother named Jeremiah too, all the cousins have gave up trying to sort out all the tangled gernerations, There are at least three Jeremiahs from three branches of the family, so any help or suggestions where to search next would be appreciated: Ron Rich Millbrae,CA
