I am trying to find somei nformation about my wife's genealogy. The only information I have is from her own memory and suppositions from Asbury Cemetery in South East Smith County Texas. My wife's father is buried there. He was: Clifford Onts Ritch. He was born 5 Sep 1911 in Selman, Texas and died 4 Apr 1976 in Terrell, Texas. His parents were John William Ritch and Alice Venora Henson. I took their birth and death dates from their tombstones. Also buried in the same cemetery are James R. Ritch b. 17 mar 1827, d. 9 Feb 1903 and Gimmminy G. Brown (wife of JR Ritch) b. 28 Mar 1828, d. 17 Feb 1924. These could be the parents of John William Ritch. Also buried there: John D. Henson b. 10 Mar 1844 d. 16 May 1932 and Mary A. Henson b. 9 Jan 1844, d. 14 Jun 1918. These could be the parents of Alice Venora Henson. Anyone have any other information about these Ritch family members? I have not found any of them in the 1900, 1910, or 1920 Texas Census data. Births and deaths prove they were there. Transcribed tombstone markers for Asbury Cemetery lists grave as, "Infant Sons of J.W. & Alice Ritch 1913-1914." Question - Is this grave twin sons who lived and died the same?
