Have the copy of will posted in Orange Co., NC, 1809 by Samuel Rich. Lists wife Rachel and 10 children; females are Jane, Vaughty, Phebe, Tamer and Sarah. Males are John, Samuel, Joseph, Jacob and Thomas. Attempting to tie these Rich's into Rich/Riche's, some in Ms. Many Riche's buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetary near Meridian, Ms. Info from Ms letter (old and dated) has Samuel Washington Rich from NC moved to Ms and died 09/18/1855 (death location unknown); one of five males. One went to Ala and one to Tx but unknown where others moved or if stayed in NC. Have much detail on family from Samuel Washington Rich's son, John W. Riche on down through mid-'50's. Seems as if he should have had more than one child but this is all I have. (See name change from Rich to Riche? Confusing me, big time!) Martha Knight Busby was either the wife of Samuel or the wife of his son, John R. If info from John W. Rich is needed, just let me know. Any encouragement out there?
