to the Rich list: I am descended from John Rich born 16Jun1751 in Chatham, Ct. This family moved to Washington Co. NY and later to Reading Steuben Co. NY (now in Schuyler Co.) My problem is this: In all of the Rich Association papers I have gone through, I have found almost no mention of this branch of the family. We did not drop off the face of the earth, really. Another problem, my house burned on Xmas day of 1998 and with it nearly all of my genealogical records ie; correspondence, copies of wills, land records, cemetery records , etc. If there are any members of ths branch of the family on this mailing list, I would really appreciate hearing from you and, hopefully, help me to replace all these records.
