Spence, I have John Lewis Rich b.16 Feb, 1838 listed as a younger brother to my Lenard Fremon Rich. They were sons of John Stevens Rich, b. 3 Jan, 1802 in Otis field, Maine and Sarah H. or A. John Stevens parents were Samuel Rich, b 23 June, 1766 in Gorham, m on 23 Jan , 1799 to Elizabeth Cates. Samuel's parents were Ezekiel Rich, b 25 Nov, 1738 in Truro, d. Aug. 1808 in Otisfield, ME and married, 21 Nov, 1765, Sarah Stevens, b 7 Jan. 1744 Ezekiel's parents were Lemuel Rich, b.26 Nov, 1711 in Truro, d. Mar 1791 in Gorham and married 14 Mar, 1734 to Elizabeth Harding, dau of Samuel Harding and Elizabeth Eldridge. Elizabeth H. was born 9 May 1717 in Eastham, MA and died Mar 1791 in Gorham. Lemuel's parents were Samuel Rich, b 1685 in Eastham, MA and d. 7 May, 1752 in Truro. Lemuel's mother was Elizabeth Mulford, b. 1687 and died 16 April 1725. I don'thave their marriage date, but their first child was born 28 Dec, 1707 in Truro. Samuel was the sixth child of Richard Rich, b. 1633 at the Isle of Shoals, died Oct 1692 and married to Sarah Roberts on 29 Feb, 1671. Sarah was born 1635 and died about 1692.
