HI Frank and all others: Thanks for the corrections/additions to the Paine/Rich genealogy you sent out here on the list. Your work is a good example of what we all should do with our data. First and least: you put in sources of where it all came from in your original post. Most data in genealogy on the net seems to come straight in from cyberspace which makes it hard to trace--no long documentation of its journey as my e-mail has when it comes. (BG] Second -- you corrected a mistake. WOW. And here I must give a nod to the internet advantages. The error got out fast so that I was able to correct the original with no problem. With the print medium, for example a daily paper, the errors corrected the next day usually are so far gone that the correction only satisfies those who may have been wronged by the error.
