March 1826 in Enfield; m. 10/22/1772 in Wellfleet, MA Mercy Chipman (descendant of Mayflower passengers) Children (b. Hardwick): Martha, Bethiah, John, Sabra, William 1 (b. June 1784, d. May 5, 1790), Samuel, William 2 (b. 6/13/1792 in Hardwick, died an adult in New York. Many of the Richs from central MA went to Genesee County, New York, and there is a William ther in the 1850 census. If you haven't already you might want to look at this record for a wife Elizabeth. ) My money is on John's son William as your William of Enfield.
