    1. Re: Hello out there...!
    2. Last year I put together a series of "Electronic Queries" which were published in "Kinfolk" (fall/winter 1997 and spring 1998). These generated a flurry of correspondence but not much followup. Many Rich researchers are not online and probably never will be. We need to find more ways to reach those who have answers as well as those who have questions. The most important function of the Rich Family Association (http://www.richfamilyassociation.org), the Rich LISTSERV as well as the Rich Forum (http://genforum.genealogy.com/rich/) is to bring together people with the common interest of the Rich surname. It is also important that we stimulate the retrieval and study of records that will add to the body of knowledge about our ancestors. The Internet can only be useful if someone makes information available and we all have a responsibility to do this. No one wants to give away hard earned research but I believe that we will ultimately get back much more. Dick Rich - President, Rich Family Association

    1. Rich of where?
    2. Linley Hooper
    3. It's great to have a Rich list, but is it a Rich of USA? How about adding a country/county to your headings so we can quickly scan to see if our British interests are mentioned. My own interests are in Yorkshire, England.
