Hello to all: To anyone who may be interested, our branch of the Rich family is having it's family reunion September 16th this year. It will be held in the Pavillion at the Chico, Texas City Park which is in Wise County. Most of us are descended from Isaiah Rich of Fayette County, Pennsylvania (found on the 1790 census) through his son Samuel Rich. Any descendent of Isaiah is welcome to attend. There will be several Rich researchers sharing information. The Wise County Historical Society has Wise County genealogical information available nearby in Decatur. Plus, it is only a short drive to Dallas and Fort Worth which have some of the best genealogical libraries in the country. Of course, a branch of the National Archives is also located in Fort Worth.
