I am fairly new to the list and need help. My RICH"s have lived in the town of Bethany, Genesee co, NY at least since 1840 when John M. RICH is found there. John was married to Hannah A. Miller?(unsure of her last name). In 1840, they had 2 daughters the first born in 1837. They went on to have 10 children. Number 10 was my g grandfather, Daniel Miller RICH. There are still many RICH"s in Genesee co. I am looking for parents of John M. (may be Mortimer as 1st son named Mortimer) and his birthplace. Just any tidbit would be greatly appreciated.
