Spencer, According to the late Julia Rich Hogan in her book, Samuel Rich and His Descendants, Vol.IX Rich Family History, the Lemuel you referred to as having been born in Maine was actually born at Truro, MA, "sometime about the six and twentyeth day of November 1711" (Truro Vital Records).He married Elizabeth Harding. Their descendants, in the order you mentioned, are as follows: Ezekiel Rich, born at Truro, Nov. 25, 1738, married Sarah Stevens Samuel Rich, born June 23, 1766, at Gorham, ME, married Elizabeth Cates John Stephens Rich, born Jan. 3, 1802, at Otisfield, ME, married Sarah H. or A. ? (On a later page, Stephens is spelled Stevens) John Lewis Rich, born Feb. 16, 1838, at Oxford, ME, (He appears in the Wisconsin census of 1860, age 21, listed as Lewis Rich.)
