Unfortunately, I know little about him except that he was married to a woman named Mae in South Carolina. They had a daughter in 1907 (name unknown) and my grandfather in 1910 (named Paul). Jess seems to have moved around a lot in the southern U. S. having left my great grandmother when the children were young. There was a rumor that he died in North Carolina and also that he may have driven race cars at one time. I know it will be difficult to find anything about someone with so little information to go on, but I hope I might get lucky and discover something. Thanks!
