Hi, I have noticed many e-mails about N.J. Reynolds. The following info I believe to be my line (my theory) but haven't been able to prove the first two generations. There was a site online the had info about the first generation and Miles Reynolds but it is not active at the present. I have a web site that does have info on N.J. WILLIAM1 REYNOLDS was born in Scotland, and died May 14, 1709 in New Jersey. He married HELEN. Notes for WILLIAM REYNOLDS: William was probably from the neighborhood of Sterling, Scotland. The earliest record of him is in 1688, when he joined with others in the execution of a release to John Barclay of Ury. This release, his will, and other documents are signed with his mark. He lived in the Freehold Township. In association with others he aquired (1700) interests in dock and landing property at Matawan.
