No, I am still not sure of William Cody Reynolds' (Billy's) mother. I asume (but nothing solid yet) that Manerva is his mother because little boy William is living with "Manervey" Reynolds (census spelling error for Manerva) and his 18 year old sister Mary Reynolds (the Mary who later married Joel Wright). This residential is from in the 1900 Letcher County Kentucky Census. They, Manerva, Billy and Mary, live next door to my Joseph C. Reynolds (Manerva's ex husband?) and his "servant Hotence" (Hortence and Joseph married the next year in 1901) with children: Coleman (mine b. 1892) James, Aggie, Margie living with them in 1900.... and they are all also next door to Morgan T Reynolds and Myra and a few of their kids and also next to a McFall family. Morgan is also Joseph and Manerva's son but much older than William Cody Reynolds. Info on Manerva and Billy Reynolds other than the partial copy of the original KY Census of 1900 I have received from Christine and/ or Margo Reynolds, Brian Caudil and Nina McFall, as well as some Wright cousins via internet email...but I would love to find some photos of Manerva or some marriage and divorce documents or birth records for her kids. Mary Reynolds obituary is my only other document naming her mother and father as Joseph and Nerva and her younger surviving siblings or 1/2 siblings Coleman, Billy, Manda, Aggie.... There are many years between Joseph's oldest child Morgan T Reynolds and his youngest child Amanda Reynolds. Amanda was born after 1900!!! Can you tell me how you know for sure that Manerva is Billy's mother? Would you like to email me directly?
