I just found out my Reynolds were from Ireland yesterday. I've been in this family for 45 years and just found this out. Hooray. Now I'd like to know if there are any Reynolds out there from Cavan Co. Ireland. My John was born there in1823 and came to Canada at some time before his marriage to Mary Anne Burke/Bourke in July 24, 1850 at Beachburg. Wherever that is. Mary Ann was from Wicklow, Shillelagh, Ireland. I may have that backwards. She was born 1818. Her parents were Thomas Burke and Sarah Holmes. She came to Canada in the spring of 1842 with her sister Esther and other Burke relatives. They left the group at Prescot( again I don't know where that is) and Mary Ann went to live in Caladonia Springs, near Prescot. Then to Westmeath to help her cousin Sarah Cross (Mrs. Edward Bromley). I am not familiar with any of these places, but plan on locating them today. Anyone with any info? Thanks, Margaret
