I have another John Reynolds but mine came into the country from Ireland Christmas day in 1867 he landed at Castle Gardens. He went to Slatington Pa. where he was employed at the quarries for 10 years. He married Josephine Fletcher a native of germany and had 5 children James( who died at 3 years of age) Sarah who died in infancy, William who also died in infancy, and John and Hugh. He moved to Portage County Ohio but then moved on to Wood County Ohio. She died in Wood county Ohio in 1882. He then remarried to Margaret McKaig ( Daughter of Robert and Eliza ( Reynolds) natives of County Derry) who was born in Coshocton County Ohio They had 6 children: Robert William J Sadie and Willie (twins) Charles and George (twins) He had two brothers who came over at a later date ( Hugh and a Robert?) He was born in County Derry ( Londonderry?) Ireland in 1841. His father was John Reynolds as well and that John was married to Eliza Carr ( or Kerr) Children of John and Eliza are in order: John James( a merchant od Colraine Ireland) Hugh( who came to portage County Ohio) Nancy ( a widow of Robert Hutton) WIlliam of Ireland Sarah also of Ireland Robert and Matthew( twins? in Ireland Robert may have came over as well) Mary married Robert McCarty and Eliza (twins) married John W Boyd in ireland Anyone have any more info on this family ???? -- If everything seems to be coming my way it means I'm in the wrong lane!
