Hi Carolyn, I don't believe John Reynolds, father to your William, will be Tillman/Tilmon's father as John and Mary didn't marry until 1811. Tilman was born about 1803 according to the census record in Georgia. It is possible that William and Tillman may be related but at this time I can't say without furthering my research.
