Wm Lee and Drusilla Staples) married Charles Reynolds of Taylor Co., KY earlier this was Green Co..........Whose son is this Charles and who were their children? I have a direct ancestor Charles Moorman md Elizabeth REYNOLDS.........their daughter Judith Moorman md a Douglass and they ended up in Green Co., KY..........Does anyone have proof that this Elizabeth Reynolds was the daughter of Christopher Reynolds??? and what his wife's maiden name was? Betsy Lee-Reynolds "family" married several times in the White family of Taylor Co., (early Green Co.KY) and earlier Charlotte Co. VA. Betsy Lee Reynold's sister Sarah Lee married Wm E. Gaines whose grandmother was Sarah White md to Rev. Thomas Hollinger Gaines of Charlotte Co. VA later to Taylor Co. Ky (early Green Co., KY in the Meadow Creek area) Other relationships to the Reynolds family though this line was Charles M. Reynolds, Crews Reynolds, Frances Reynolds, Kathryn Reynolds, Mary E. Reynolds, Sterling Price Reynolds and Virginia Reynolds. This Sterling Price Reynolds (who were his parents?) He was related to the John Price and Martha White family of Virginia to Green Co., KY etc. This Reynolds goes back to Va to the White, Williams, Price, Motley's etc. ..........Anyone know more about his line? Just found new info on JAMES DANIEL REYNOLDS, who was son of JAMES REYNOLDS AND ELIZA SPURLING REYNOLDS. James' name was also written as JAS. D REYNOLDS. This is in his Civil War papers. JAMES DANIEL REYNOLDS was born 5 JULY 1844, Campbellsville, Taylor Co. KY. He was with CO F 60 IL US INF, not the 16th IL US INF. He enlisted at age 16, and was 5'3" tall, dark hair, light complexion, and blue eyes. He, like so many ohters, had dysentery, vertigo, sunstroke, and manyother vicious maladies. In his latter years, he had chronic menningitis. I also found out that Isabel White, James' wife, remarried a Samuel Reynolds after James died, 9 MAR 1913. He must have died before 1916 as he is not listed in the IL death index. Isabel died 9 JAN 1922. Isabelle was born in Crawford Co, probably Robinson, and not in Casey County.KY. Casey Co is where Isabel's father, George White was born, and possibly her mother. the Crawford County 1860 census shows Sarah as married to George. They married in Crawford in 1851, so Sarah can't be Isabel's mother. Her obituary says Sallie Turner White was her mother. It is possible that Sallie and Sarah could have been related. Or Sallie and Sarah are the same person, and Isabelle just knew her as her mother. I think Isabel must have lost her mom at a very young age, or she left George and family. So, I James Daniel's brother, William I (T) and his son, James Thomas both served in the Civil War also. Trying to find out what happened to Mildred Reynolds, their sister. Think she may have married in KY. She may have been born in Hart, Green or Taylor Co. Possibly Louisville, as James and Eliza were there for a time, left to IL, then came back where Eliza died in 1857. James and Eliza married 1 JULY 1830. James Reynolds remarried Mrs. Martha Pearson, who had three daughters. John , James Daniel;s brother shows as 4 years old, b KY in the 1860 Crawford Census. James and Martha married in Crawford. so think John was born in 1855 in Louisville, where his mother, Eliza died. If anyone knows about this John Reynolds, would appreciate any info. And would anyone know who the parents of James Reynolds and Eliza Spurling are, and where they may have come from? Thanks Marsha Kentucky
