March 17th, 1865, I came across the name of Chas Reynolds who signed the documents as 1st Lt. V.C.R., Recorder. He signed his name Chas but it was stated officially as Charles. This was the site of the US Army General Hospital Div. No. 1. Annapolis, Md. Chas was in charge of collecting and selling the effects (clothing) of the dead.
