My husband's family is the Laban Reynolds/Polly Cousins lineage from Illinois. I, too, researched the Reynolds line and came up empty at Laban. Polly, however, descends from the John Barteaux family that came over from Paris, France to New York in 1670. My husband is Scott Albert Reynolds (age 43) and his father is Elwood Gerald (Jerry) Reynolds whose grandparents were Stephen Ray Reynolds and Edna Boles and whose great grandparents were Jacob Welcome and Nancy Louisa Corbin. Nancy came to Sandpoint, Idaho after Jacob died in 1922. That's how this side of the Reynolds clan got here. You have a far removed cousin who is a Boles who has also done research and she, too, came up empty at Laban. Sounds mysterious and I love a good mystery...Please tell me where you fit into this...
