Hi, my name is DeDe Meek and I am currently researching my grandfather's side of the family. His name was Frank Stafford Reynolds, b. 14 Dec 1898 - Village of Canandaigua, Ontario County, NY, d. 11 May 1986- Tucson, Pima County, AZ. His father was Ralph N. Reynolds, b. 10 Mar 1872, d. 2 Dec 1949. He was married to Auguste Caroline Christianne Schmidt of Preetz, Germany. Ralph's father according to what I could get from who is left on that side of the family was Gilbert Reynolds, b. ?, d. ?. He was married to Mary ??. According to comments from a family bible, he came from England and settled in Philadephia, Pennsylvania, then lived in Pierington, New York, then moved to Canandaigua, New York. Oral tradition talked about him being in Rochester, NY and I found an 1860 Census with a Gilbert Reynolds, wife Mary and son Stanley in Rochester, but I'm not sure if this is the correct person.
