If you have older males from established Reynolds lines, encourage them to have their DNA tested. Amazing links can be forged in this way. We made a link between two branches of the Norton family that we hadn't been able to put together before because enough people joined. (Sellers and his Marion County history aside--there are relationships to be uncovered!) So comeon everyone! We have lots to gain! Also Female lines can be made, however, I haven't been lucky enough to make any connections except matches over 1000 years ago when few of us know who the men were--let alone the females. The interesting thing is that eventually we may be able to fit more of the pieces of our puzzles together. Since females change names every generation and sometimes several times--this matching is for the strong of heart! Especially people with well established trees should join the DNA groups--those Martha ? might become real names if enough of us join. It does cost money--but at least when you have a match--you KNOW THAT IT IS YOUR FAMILY and not some other family. It isn't a monthly fee. It is a onetime fee and you will be updated anytime someone matches your DNA. Knowing that we are all cousins is intersting--but figuring out how is better! Happy hunting to ALL of us.
