She was the widow of Thomas Reynolds, a corporal in the G.G.'s when they married in St. Mary's Lambeth, London. Susan is listed as the widow of a stome mason in the 1851 census in Brixham, Devon. Her brother, Michael Tapper, a sea captain, willed in 1877, "200 pounds to my sister, Susan Reynoldsfe living in America and to his nephew, James Goodwin, farmer in America, 40 pounds" Did Susan marry a Goodwin in America? Anyone have information as to where Susan went in "America" and what happened to her?
