I have a picture of him and his first wife. On the back of the picture it says "George and Jeanie" . His first wife died while he two children were very small. He brought them to Texas on a wagon train in the 1890s. He met a widow woman with 4 children and they married and had about 9 children. Orsborne Lee and Maude were children of the first wife. I found a George W. listed in the 1870 Tenn. census as a 12 year old in school. His father was named George. I also found a George W.that married a Baker girl (could not read first name) in Knox county. Igf you think this is the same person let me know and I will send you a copy of the picture.
