    1. Death certificates - help please (English Reynolds research)

    3. I'm asking for help in my quest for the death certificate of gt. gt. grandfather Thomas Reynolds. I have looked at BMD fiches and jotted down all the Thomas Reynolds's who died in the London area and at a very rough guess, the years in which he might of died. According to his daughter's marriage cert. he was alive in 1844. (Usually if the father has died on modern day certificates then it is noted as deceased on the cert.) I don't know whether way back then this was done. I have found loads which might be him, but obviously it would cost me a fortune to send off for these, only to find out he is the wrong one. He married in the St. Pancras area and there were 3 deaths in St. Pancras up until 1856. Can somebody tell me the other areas that were near to St. Pancras at that time to narrow it down a bit ? Also, on death certificates on the 1800s, what other information might I find on them ? Next of kin, etc. I know I have asked for the impossible, but I hope somebody can point me in the right direction. With best wishes to you all Angela
