James Reynolds, born in 1795, and Catherine King, born in 1800, were married in Ireland (we don't know where) and came to Middlefied, (near Cooperstown, NY) in 1830. They had 6 children, one of which was Richard, my husband's great grandfather, born 10/12/1845. Richard married Elizabeth Callaghan, (born in Ireland on Sept. 15, 1848, daughter of Michael Callaghan and Anna Riley who had come from Ireland) in 1872. Richard and Elizabeth had 6 children, Francis P.,(my husband's grandfather), born March 17, 1879. After Elizabeth died, Richard moved with his daughter, Catherine and David Pugh to Utica, NY. Richard died there on March 15, 1921. Catherine and David Pugh had a son, Charles. Francis P. married Mary M. Norris, who had been born on Feb. 11, 1879 in Carthage, NY. She was the daughter of Hattie Longway and John Norris. Francis and Mae, as she was called, moved to Norristown, PA and had a knitting mill. They had 6 children and at least 22 grandchildren.
