    1. Reynolds Family Rhode Island and New York
    2. Hello...       I am looking for decendants of the William Wall Reynolds family. I believe he was born in Kingston, Rhode Island and died in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1866. To my knowledge they were some of the earliest descendants of Rhode Island and came from England. He had a son Egbert 1837-1883 who was my Grandfather not sure if he was born in RI or NY died in Poughkeepsie, NY.        I would appreciate any information that you may have or find of this Reynolds family.        Sincerely,        John L. Reynolds, Great, Great Grandson        Hyde Park, N.Y.        e-mail: FALAHPNY@AOL.COM .

    3. Ms. Hiatt, As a member of the Reynolds Family Association, I do not mind paying the $10 per year to belong. If your client could not pay the $10, how could that client afford to pay your fees? (I doubt that you work for free.) If your clients do not have email and wants you to do the research, I would recommend that you simply join any organization that may possibly be of help and charge your client accordingly. There are many other sources that I am sure you are aware of, and I also believe that the books published by RFA are probably in many libraries across the county. Respectfully, Phyllis Reynolds Goelz -----Original Message----- From: Marty Hiatt [mailto:martyhiatt@starpower.net] Sent: Thursday, June 03, 2004 8:30 AM To: REYNOLDS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Family Association To those of you who are members of the Reynolds Family Association: Is there anyway an index could be listed? One where outsiders could look for free, before joining? A few years back I inquired for information from the Reynolds Family Association. I don't remember if I wanted to post a query, or extract information. At any rate, I was told that the information was closed to all except paid subscribers/members of the association. I understand this limitation, but when researching names that are not my own, or when I only want to know what "might" be available; this is not financially smart for me. My clients often do not have email, and are not interested in conducting research themselves. If they were, I would suggest they join the surname associations. 3. I am missing some documention to complete a Mayflower Society application I have been working on for a friend. I appreciate the responses to a couple previous postings that offered me some clues of where to seek further information. One of my sources indicates there is a book titled "Electious Reynolds of Salem and Middleboro, MA"; RFA Centennial Collection 1992. I would like to purchase it if it is still available. In the meantime I would appreciate it if someone who has this book in their possession could provide copies of the pages that contain information of the family of Electious REYNOLDS and Charity CASWELL'S son Joseph who married Bathsheba RANDALL. Joseph and Bathsheba apparently had a daughter Sally REYNOL:DS who married Burton BAKER and lived the later part of their lives in Hermon, St. Lawrence, NY. I need information to prove that Sally is indeed the daughter of the Joseph REYNOLDS from Rochester, MA who married Bathsheba RANDALL. I have the marriage intention from Middleboro, MA and the fact a Joseph REYNOLDS lived in Rochester, MA in the 1790 federal census. I have a page from his pension application papers listing his residence as Rochester and his father as Electious of Rochester. I have a deed linking Sally to her father Joseph. But I am being asked to prove that this Joseph REYNOLDS who lived in Hermon, St. Lawrence, NY is definitely the one from Rochester, MA. If the Millicent Reynolds book makes this connection and someone can send me the appropriate page or pages, I would be greatful. Thanks in advance for your help. I am willing to share what information I have collected. I also would appreciate a source of where the book could be purchased. Margaret Scheffler
