    2. MScheffler
    3. I have been researching REYNOLDS families in the areas you describe. Some are descendants of Joseph REYNOLDS (1744-1846) & Bathsheba RANDALL of Plymouth, MA . The Joseph REYNOLDS families seems to have gone to Freetown, Bristol, MA then Rupert, VT-- 1810 & 1820 census-- and finally ended up in Hermon, St. Lawrence Co., NY abt 1840. Their children & sometimes Joseph lived in various places DeKalb and Antwerp, Sandy Creek & Pulaski. Son Nehemiah REYNOLDS was in Antwerp in 1870. I have completed a Mayflower application for a friend that goes back through the RANDALLS. We need to prove that Sally REYNOLDS was the daughter of Joseph REYNOLDS & Bathsheba RANDALL. I'm willing to share information with interested researchers of these families. 1. My Reynolds Ancestors
    2. DeDe Meek
    3. Now let’s try this again…. My Reynolds ancestors are in upstate New York. My Grandfather, Frank Stafford Reynolds was born in the Village of Canadaigua in 1898. His Father was Ralph Reynolds, b. 3/1/0/1872 d. 12/2/1949 and he married Auguste Caroline Christiane Schmidt on 12/20/1893. She was b. 6/14/1875 d. 11/26/1972. Here’s where I get stuck – I think that Ralph’s father and mother are Gilbert and Mary, but am not entirely sure about that, and no one on my Grandfather’s side of the family (his brothers and sisters) are still alive and I don’t have contact with any of their families. I do know that all of my Grandfather’s brothers and sisters were either born in the Town or Village of Canandaigua. Thanks for any help. We claim (but not well documented) to descend from a Gideon Reynolds -- possibly the Gideon Runnels listed in the 1800 census of Rutherford Co, NC. David Reynolds b. c1801 in NC; d. 1853 in IL has better documentation as our ancestor. Information, no matter how remote, would be appreciated!! Ron Reynolds

    2. So the roll call got me motivated to look online at the Census records to see if I couldn't come up with anything more on Wesley Reynolds b. 27 Dec 1895 d. Dec 1962. I actually found him in the 1900 Census at four years of age living with his parents Thomas and Grace Reynolds. Thomas was born in England in April 1864 and Grace was born in California while her father was born in possibly Massachusetts and her mother was born in Ireland. Thomas' parents were both born in England. Thomas came to the United States in 1875. Thomas and Grace had three children...Wesley, Grace, and Agnes.
