I've "rescued" an old photograph of Elnora M. REYNOLDS of Moravia, Cayuga County, NY. The photograph was taken at the Hyatt & Tooke Studio in Cortland, New York likely when Elnora graduated from the Cortland Normal School sometime in the 1890's. Elnora appears to be in her late teens at the time the photograph was taken. Her married name, Mrs. E. HOPKINS is written in pencil on the back of the photograph in addition to her maiden name and home. I am hoping to return the photograph to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

I have been looking for these Reynolds for about a year and a half and have come to no avail. This is all the information that I have: John Reynolds was born about 1852 in Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland. He married Ann Byrne after he migrated to Missouri, between 1870 and 1875, and had three children, Charles, Magie and Christopher, born 1875, 1877 and 1878, respectivly. In 1880, they lived in St. Louis twnshp, St. Louis, MO and had a niece living with them, Bessie Kallaher who was 17 in 1880. John was a Hotel Waiter and Ann kept house and so did Bessie. Any information that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Mike __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Thanks for your answer. Yes, I am curious if there is any connection with your William Riley to my Michael. Michael was born also 1824 in TN. I found an older Michael in Hawkins Co. in the tax list in 1804 or about that time. There was an older Iley in the 1830 census. Michael names one of his children Iley. I just can't find any connections. All of Michael children claimed they were Irish even though Michael was born in Tennessee. Everything seems to stop at the Civil War. What a sad time! Thanks Esther. If you ever find anything I would appreciate your information. [email protected]
