Hi All here is part one of a lookup requested by Jeanie. pages 69 & 70 from "Renshaw Reflections" by Grace Parke Renshaw Ebenezer Renshaw was born in Tennessee in 1803 according to the 1850 census of White County IL where he settled at about the same time that Nancy Renshaw removed to that location. Are Samuel and Ebenezer brothers? Are they sons of William and Nancy? 1. Parents unknown lived TN, when he was born. a.Ebenezer Renshaw b. 13 Oct 1802 m. Elizabeth Collard in White Co. By the year 1870, Thomas had become a prosperous farmer. In 1849 when he mar- ried Nancy, his land was listed in census at $100. The 1870 census shows a value of $3,500 with other assets at $1,800.
