A relationship between these lines has not been established but a male member of each line married into the Sinclair family of Knox County, their wives being sisters. We have no documented information of the above James Renshaw, except his name as the youngest member of this family. However, we have a James William Renshaw with no documented birthdate, who could be the above James and could possibly have been born later than the date based upon the approximated birthdate of his sister Blanche. The reason for this speculation is that Avonia Thress has given me information on one: James William Renshaw who died in Knoxville in 1930. He had married Lillian Matilda Sinclair, born in Knoxville in March 1893 and died there 22 December, 1948. We know of no other Renshaw family in Knox County who had a son of that name, born at about that time. His wife is known to be the sister of Helen Sinclair who married Clarence John Thress.
