Obituary from the MODESTO BEE, Central San Joaquin Valley of California. KENNETH "BUD" RAGSDALE, 70, of Pahrump, Nevada, died Monday, May 10th, 1999, in St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Henderson, Nevada. Mr. Ragsdale was a native of OKLAHOMA. He lived in Pahrump nine years, and previously lived in Ceres, California 30 years and Merced seven years. He was a carpet installer and owner of Modesto Carpet and Bud Ragsdale Floor Covering. He helped form the Caballeros Club, Modesto. He was a member of Keyes Assembly of God Church. He was an Army and Merchant Marine veteran of World War II. He was a boxer in the Army and continued as an amateur and professional boxer in the Merced area. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ragsdale of Pahrump; children, Pam Cayson of Modesto, Kris RENSHAW of Sunnyvale, and Lynn Hibdon and Kenny Sprouls, both of Pahrump; stepson, Barry Parris of Spanaway, Washington; brothers, Wayne Ragsdale and Don Ragsdale, both of Turlock, and Bill Ragsdale of Fresno; sister, Elva Wiseman of San Leandro; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
