Hi Eleanor, This morning I was reading through the will of Jonathan GALLEY, which I had printed out when doing a search for RENSHAW'S in the USGenWeb Archives. The heading is Wills: Jonathan GALLEY, 1852: German Twp., Fayette Co.,PA. I am posting this to the list rather than to directly to you, on the off chance some one else may see a connection. However I think these are good candidates for your line. Jonathan GALLEY was apparently a rather wealthy coal miner. Half way through the will he lists his eight daughters. Catherine being one of them, he states she intermarried James RENSHAW. Based on the time frame stated in the beginning of the referenced will, I am wondering if this could be the youngest son, of your James & Aramintha RENSHAW, who you have in your file as being born after 1814. Later on in the will he makes this declaration. "Seventh I will and devise, to my daughter Catherine RENSHAW, the tract of land in Nicholson Township, Fayette Co., which she now occupies, containing sixteen acres more or less and after her death to her two daughters, Mary Ann, intermarried with George WIEGLE and Carrie L. SCHNATTERLY intermarried with John SCHNATTERLY in fee simple to them their heirs and assigns." The will is dated Oct 4,1899 >From will book 11, p.325 1900 The beginning date preceding the will and the actual date of will was signed, is quite a span but, this particular version may have been an update to the original will written in 1852, think one would need to see the will book. Looking forward to your thoughts on this, Gwen Maurer
