    1. [RENSHAW-L] Thomas F. Renshaw descendants

    3. During one of my recent forays into looking for where Thomas F. Renshaw was buried (he owned property near Hardin in both Allamakee and Clayton County, Iowa), I found the following record in a Rootsweb file. Hardin Cemetery, Franklin Township, Allamakee County, Iowa (.75 miles north of Clayton County line): Renshaw, Easom J. b. 1874 June 9 d. 1876 August 9 Renshaw, Ella M. b. 1867 May 3 d. 1868 April 8 daughter of ME & LA Renshaw. I can't find any Renshaws in my files for the descendants of James & Araminta Renshaw with the initials ME. However, I do have a Marshall Pierce Renshaw (son of Thomas F.) married to a Laura A. (last name unknown). He would have been 20 when Ella Renshaw was born. Could these have been his children? Does anyone have a reference to a M.E. Renshaw living in this area during this time frame? Any help would be appreciated. Victoria L.
