    2. I believe the following obituary is for a descendant of James Renshaw of Fayette Co., PA The Sioux City Journal -- Daily Almanac: Obituaries Friday, March 10, 2000 Jack C. Renshaw STORM LAKE, Iowa - Jack Chase Renshaw, 77, of Storm Lake died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Storm Lake, with the Rev. David Swinton officiating. Burial will be in Buena Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Alta Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6172. Visitation will be after noon today, with the family present 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at Fratzke Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Mr. Renshaw was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Floyd County, Iowa, the son of Harry and Cora (Chase) Renshaw. He moved with his family to Storm Lake as a child and graduated from there in 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during from 1943 to 1945, stationed with the engineers attached to the Air Corps installing plumbing systems at air bases in the United States and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He married Helen E. Anderson on May 25, 1946, in Storm Lake. He co-owned and operated Renshaw Plumbing and Heating with his brothers from 1946 to 1981. He then owned and operated the business until retiring in 1997. He belonged to United Methodist Church, Anerican Legion, Alta Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6172 and was a charter member of Buena Vista County Barber Shop Singers. He served on the Storm Lake Fire Department and enjoyed traveling, fishing, crossword puzzles and sports. Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Erin Lappe and Benjamin and Conner Renshaw; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Miller of Storm Lake; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Mary Alice and Raymond Hansen and Doris and Virgil Jones, all of Storm Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Vernon, Charles, John and Francis. A memorial fund has been established. (posted by Eleanor Gordon)
