Hi Everyone, Myself and Eleanor Gordon, another list member and Renshaw researcher, have just recently returned from a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah and the Family History Library. We had a wonderful week, exhausting week of research. Between the two of us we obtained many pieces of info on various RENSHAW lines. We both would like to share some of this material with the list members. However we think we may have a problem in doing so.The problem is a lot of the materials we copied were from copyrighted books. We have been trying to figure out how we can share our data online with you all, without violating copyright laws. For example can we post the extracted data, as long as we quote the source? Since we are not posting the whole book, but just a small piece of data from it. Is this copyright violation? Your help and suggestions on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated. Please send your response to the whole list, I believe some general discussion by all would be most helpful. I will be posting materials that I feel the copyright police won't come after me for. Hope they help someone. I will apologize up front if I should post something that is already available, however I just can't take the time to sort through all previous posted materials.
