Trying to trace the Renshaw connection to my Wallace family as the name was carried through 3 generations and had to be significant. My biological patrilineage is Wallace from Church Hill Maryland, but I live in remote Perth West Australia and not only are US records very hard to access from here, but I was only given the first clue to who my biological father was when I was 60 years old. I finally found that he was Lt General William Jennings Wallace USMC, DSM, but he died in 1977and at 67 I am still trying to trace my family and discover who I really am. Renshaw connection is through my father's brother Frederick, who moved to PA. His mother was (presumably) Lydia Potts, whom I am told was a Cavendish originally, so I don't know where Renshaw came from - unless his father had a Renshaw connection through his parents, but the name appears to have been given to the first born son in each generation. Information I have is:- William Dudley Wallace b1875 d? m (1) Lydia Potts b? d1899 ----------------------------------------l------------------------------------------------- Frederick Renshaw Wallace 1893-1965 m Josephine Small ------------------------------------------l-------------------------------------------- Frederick Renshaw Wallace Jnr b1928 m 1947 Elizabeth Pearson l-------------------------------------------------------------l-----------------------------------------------------------------------------l Virginia Swift Wallace b1948 Barbara Pearson Wallace b1950 David Renshaw Wallace b1951 m Elaine ?
