Hello List, I am searching for information on my great grandparents, John and Ella (Renshaw) Anderson. They were married July 2, 1889 in Coles County, Illinois. John's parents were Thomas and Elizabeth (Helton) Anderson. Ella's parents were Unknown and Emmaline (Helton) Renshaw. John and Ella had at least 4 children, possible as many as 7. Cora Irene Anderson - b. Dec 9, 1902 in Fall River, Greenwood County, Kansas. Ernest Rex Anderson - b. Jan 31, 1904 in Sullivan, Moultrie County, Illinois. Frank Anderson - (probably his middle name). Ray Anderson - (probably his middle name). Both Cora and Ernest when by their middle names, which is where that assumption came for Frank and Ray. John worked on the Wabash Railroad and moved around a lot, for the most part in Illinois. Cora Irene attended a different school each year until she reached high school. All of this information came from Cora Irene Anderson's Bible. "Uncle" Rex's obituary indicated that there were 7 children in all, although only those listed above were in grandma's Bible. Have not been able to find anything else out about John's or Ella's parents. Hoping these names will be familiar to someone on the list. Mark Peters Phx, Az.
