The following obituary is from the online edition of the SUN newspaper of Bremerton Washington. William Renshaw William Wiley Renshaw, 96, of Bremerton died Aug. 24, 2000, at Harrison Hospital. He was born Oct. 8, 1903, in Philadelphia, to Clarence and Mary (Wiley) Renshaw. He attended Southern High School in Philadelphia, graduated from William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Va., in 1933, and from the University of Pennsylvania in 1946. He married Vivian Caldwell in Williamsburg in 1935. She preceded him in death in 1984. Mr. Renshaw worked at Mastbaum Vocational Technical School in Philadelphia for 35 years, retiring as principal in 1969. He enjoyed dogs and historical novels. He was a member of the Episcopal church. Survivors include a son, William Jr. of Yardley, Pa.; two daughters, Vivian Durfee of Bremerton and Susan Hartzler of Midlothian, Va.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 700 Callahan Drive in Bremerton. Cremation will take place at Cherry Grove Memorial Park with inurnment in Exton, Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
